Operating Room Nurse
Operating Room Nurses work in operating rooms, assisting surgeons and other medical professionals in performing surgical procedures. Their primary responsibilities include preparing patients for surgery, monitoring vital signs during procedures, and providing post-operative care. Operating Room Nurses must have strong communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a thorough understanding of surgical procedures. They typically require a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a current RN license. Certification in BLS and ACLS is often required.
